Did you know that koalas also eat native blossoms?
Whilst the bulk of a koala’s diet consists of certain species of eucalypt leaves they will also eat the buds, flowers and at times bark. They have also been observed sometimes eating the leaves of casuarina, paperbark and corymbia.
